Great spring day and the urge to get out and swing was pulling me!! Even tho I had just a little over an hour it was productive!! Ended the day with 41 coins, a whopping $1.78 I managed three War Nickels, a nice silver ring(couldn't find the stone), and a silver Roosie!! Rain coming the next couple days, but enjoyed today!!

Glad you were able to get out even if it was for an hour...Hope the weather improves for ya. Congrats on the silver

Nice pile of silver for a short hunt ... congratz ~ Jimmy

Check that 1943 nickel. The date looks like an error. It might be worth more than you think.

If you found that in an hour,,,,,, I would like to see what you could get in a day. WTG!

WOW great finds in such a short time  congrats :)

Check it out! :o

I wish every day was like this!!! I hit an area in town that I've hunted three or four times and always come away with a War Nickel or two. I've never found anything older than the 40's, even tho it dates back to the twenties, but I take what the ground gives!! I may have ended the day with more clad and no more silver, or might have pulled another War Nickel or two!! Total silver coin count for the year is only 8, so haven't had too many of these days yet!

I've checked it out and don't think its an error, looks to be just a common 43-P

Too bad. That year is known for errors on the Jeffersons. Oh well, the next one will be!

Wow What an hour! :coffee2:

Nice job, Jack, on your silvers. Looks like it was a productive hunt for you. I have never found 3 war nickels in one day!
