Flawed $20 bill has sold for over $20,000

I believe the price this sold for was $25,300. I guess they bought it on ebay in 2003 for around $11,000.

Was it this one? Just did a posting myelf in "everything else".

The famed 'Del Monte Note', a $20 bill with a Del Monte sticker on it that sold on Ebay for $10,000 is seen at the Heritage Galleries and Auctioneers in Dallas, Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005. The $20 note which is estimated to go for $20,000- $25,000, will be auctioned in their upcoming Signature Auction, to be held January 6 and 7, 2006 in Orlando, Fla.

if i had known our currency was printed on nanner wrappers i would have started printing my own.......

Makes you wonder if the person that put the sticker there is the same one that sold it. ?

They could never get it out if they had. security is that tight. This had sold once on ebay after being graded by one of the grading services. Then an auction house sold it for the second time.
