Is there still something goin' on at Flint Ridge this weekend ?

I'm guessing most of the people on this forum do not attend knap ins but they should.
I would imagine it is still on for the weekend, it is one of the biggest knap ins in the country. Just wish I lived closer.

It's an hour and half for me, haven't been there for 8 yrs or so.

I just wanted to get a feel for raw Obsidian prices, I have a chance to collect some next week, and just wondered if it is very valuable here in Ohio.

Anything I can do to raise some gas money......

Was at ridge from Weds until last night. Us Michigan boys set up along the road next to Craig Ratzat. Weather was a bit humid and a thunder storm on Friday morning at 500am cause some EZ up damage to thoughs that didn't drop them down but it was a great time overall. Didn't bring much rock home. Did make one of my nicest points out of mookite ( I am a terrible knapper) and my wife made claims to it for a necklace when I got home.

Maybe to make this a more fitting post for this site there were some mighty nice artifact displays and flint ridge has a very nice museum.
