If you guys find any killer hammer stones... you should post them.
I think I saw one in one of the picks. Again... Way to go!

Dollarzero the conditions were dead on, This is that spot that I found the Cahokia point last week. I didnt get it all walked that day, so me and Capps went out and hit the rest of it. The river had gotten up this year and washed threw this spot uncovering all these goodies.(It removed a lot of silt) I think I only picked up the hematite hammerstone, and the only reason I kept it was becouse I am a hematite nut. We did find a bunch of hammerstones, but I swear we had no room for them. We both had to take some points out of our pockets before we could even sit down in the truck. UUUUGGGhhh I hope that doesnt sound like a guy bragging, Its not ment that way anyway. Thanks for the comments again, we just got lucky. John

Man, O Man did you guys clean up! Real shame about that broken flair bit celt, love the little triangle, and the tips on the Adena, and Archaic sidenotch are awesome. Never have found a bead yet, and yours are in good shape. More hematite, and pottery. Doesn't happen often, but there's a little jealousy going on over here, LOL! Congrats to you both though, and thanks for sharing!

QUANTITY AND QUALITY!! This is a banner post in my opinion. Definately more interesting than some old coin or gold ring. We're talking real history here and such a show is BANNER!

Oh my gosh!!!!!!! That is an unreal day of hunting I am soooooooooo jealous. Thanks for sharing the great photos.

Really nice show! Nice to see a field where no-till has not been used for awhile. Thanks

Amazing Day... You just inspired me to brave the cold and head out tomorrow.

It's been awhile since I've been to this site, but I'm glad that I came up and looked. That is one helluva show and tell...In my area, we have to dig for two weeks to come up with half that, and that is in proven camps...Great show, guys...
