my first floating micro gold, almost missed it, i seen material floating on top of the water and took a closer look at it with my microscope......sure enough, floating gold.

a small drop of Dawn dish soap OR better yet Clay-B-Gone will eliminate that problem ! Also try useing warm or hot water and this will also help you in the Micro-fine gold retention ! Happy panning to you !

A centrifuge will help concentrate / drop out this type of flour gold that is not attached to other type of rock. The extra energy and equipment used may not be worth it if there is not enough flour gold to offset the extra steps.

Nope it is not try a stainless steel quality juicer from either a Estate sale or a second hand store on sale. Not to hard to pick up one for the price range of $10.00-40.00.

Just need a small feed tube or wooden feed ramp. Just run enough to coat the inner pulp screen that is covered with a number of layers of fine cloth to let the water flow through, but not the fine concentrate / values (Some will use a coffee filter as well and just burn the filter as one stage or step). Then turn off the juicer and let it stop spinning to empty out the concentrate layer of materials.

You can process a little further however some people will fire the fine concentrates to make a button in a kiln with flux.
