Wow, talk about heavy patina! They water finds?? What's that last one? It almost looks like the little conicle copper points we find up here-
 

Thanks, all river or coastal eroding midden sites. That last conical item I've been told is a socketed bone projectile point....... with all the great materials to make sharp, hard points out of it in FL, confuses me as to why they would use bone for that....seems absurd.
 

Good point about why they would use that material.... doesn't it make you wonder how extensively bone and antler was utilized and has just rotted away? I suppose a little conical point like that made from antler wouldn't break as easy for one thing- just a guess.
