Last year, the agency received more than 14,000 nuisance alligator complaints and nearly 8,000 alligators were "removed."

What makes them a nuisance Maybe they play their stereos too loud, noisy parties? Just like the bear problem on the Northeast, I believe that we are encroaching into their neighborhoods. Also, if you don't like the sounds of airplanes 24/7, I suggest not moving near an airport either.

They just need a safe way to contain those little critters.

Why can't they put them gators in the Rio Grande ? No swimming, hmmm, not a bad idea.
