I have a feeling it is going to be a good weekend regardless if we are metal detecting or not.DH and I went to a local park this afternoon.I sat enjoyed the scenary and watched him.I don't get to sit,and do nothing when I get the chance it is GREAT.He was getting frustrated,and I was just ah nice cool air.

I keep reading these post that seem to relay that it will be cold. Is there something I don't know about? Its not that darn far from here and it was close to 70° here today.
Its the Florida pan handle. I was planning on SWIMMING! lol Not really but whats all the fuss about??

In 2012 there will be an alignment of the sun with the center of the Milky Way. We are going to start seeing more and more odd weather until that happens.

I would say pack a little bit of everything.The low here in Gainesville yesterday was 22.Today the high was 68 although it felt warmer then that.Crazy FL weather!I just hope it isn't raining,but regardless we will have a good time.

A radio DJ here was giving a weather report he said he wasnt going with the Natl weather report which was
20% chnce of rain he was going of and being brave and doing his own forcast he was going to look out the window and saaaaaaaay 100% chance (it was pouring)

But regardless if ya'll are wearing parkas or tanks your gonna have fun!

Yayyyyyyy........My wife decided to come along to the hunt. So now my worries of where to sleep are gone. I was surprised to find a room at Super 8 in defucnky springs or something or another, a town near ponce de leon.
