Alright who sent that blast of arctic wind my way? Right now with the factor it's 29, and the high only 49. With the north winds blowing it will be down right cold. Tonight down to 25, the killer is the wind. I can handle the cold long as the sun is shining and the wind is not blowing. So, with PDL a tad bit north of me...it will be even a little more colder. But, later this week the highs will be near 75. Praying this warmth will continue on till next weekend's hunt. Just be prepared, this weather is almost unpredictable.

Good morning my friend!! Sheesh I need more rockstar...feel like I didn't hardly sleep last night....maybe because I didn't? Anyone awake enough to translate the chat announcement into PST for me? Thank God it is my friday! I only have to make it til tomorrow morning at 7am then I can sleep for a couple of days!

PS It wasn't me Judie...we KEPT our arctic weather...just 22 here without factoring in any wind or such. Stay warm!!

Sheesh I best find someone with a BIG suitcase to borrow! CTH2 I had too much stuff to fit in my suitcase coming home and Burdie went and bought me a duffel bag to haul more and Bobby STILL ended up taking a couple of things that would not fit back with him....this time I am going to be gone twice as long. Maybe I better check to see what it costs to check two big suitcases! rofl

Its 30 before wind chill here gonna get to 45 maybe!

Jeff had to buy another case to come home! But the one he took and the new one one are those little carry on size retangle ones then of course he had the big back pack!

well was trying to get some history of the area and didn't really find much, but did find a comment left on another page in reference to those asking about alcoholic beverages, they aren't allowed, or least weren't when this comment was posted. Also town has no red light and population is at 406? not sure how accurate that is, defenitely small town!! and then while telling Allybeanie(MrsSix) about it , she no wonder my reservation at the hotl confirmation number was 4...lol...gregg

I just called the Ponce de Leon motor lodge,and he said that we had a total of 8 rooms booked that we needed 10 to get a discount.That man is so hard to understand at times.I also added Florida Hunt to our reservations.Any plans for Friday night?I know we should be there between 7 and 8 CST.
