If memory serves me correctly, I think a guy found a solid gold box with a gold and emerald rosary in it that washed up from a shipwreck near that beach.

Scrounger thanks for sharing your trip with us you guys look sooooo warm and like your having so much fun, the can slaw treasure is what I find alot of! Mel Fisher treasure is great we were lucky enough when we went thru Springfield, they had his traveling one in a store there, it was great! Keep having fun and sharing !

Nice pics! Its amazing how much gold turns into aluminum after setting in the sand for 300 years. Maybe if you had been there a hundred years back all your aluminum would have still been gold!!
