Florida snow today!

As the ripe heat of subtropical summer slides to fall and king tides rise and days shorten and skies go dry, a dapple of white spreads low across Florida’s green landscape with petals of the pusley plant in bloom.

Pusley is nicknamed “Florida snow” because its delicate funnel-shaped flowers of white, pink or light purple can resemble a dusting of the frozen precipitation, a mirage that mimics winter in more northern climes.

Digging its sturdy and stubborn tap root into the soil, pusley can devour large swaths of grass where it is stressed by insects, improper mowing, disease or lack of water. Palm Beach Post

Look closely at this pic and you'll find a honey bee hard at work. Tracked this one for a while before I got a decent shot.
