My fossil buddy called and told me he purchased a large fossil collection from an old time Florida collector. He said there were a few artifacts mixed in. The collection was huge, thousands of items from Meg teeth to mastodon & mammoth stuff. At least a thousand Meg teeth or more. Here are some nice things he gave me. The rest was

broken pottery & bone pins. The Newnan is awesome, rice grain chert but alas a little of the stem is snapped off. The bone awl is perfect and river stained.

Nice material on those pieces Newnan man. The larger darker awl looks like a deer ulna. That helped liven up here for now!
