Love reading all the posts about East Coast Fl. Spanish treasure. I have a question for beach or dug finds when would the State of Florida get involved if they knew --1 coin 10 coins 100 coins ? Also are beach finds violating anyones leases ? What if the MDer was in the surf? Thanks just some questions that I was curious about.HH Jimbo 2

Hi Jimbo:

Actually those questions have been answered many times in the many posts but basically.
1. Stay out of the water.
2. In the water it belongs to the State and the lease holder.
3. On the beach it's yours.
4. Stay off of the dunes.
