I recently dug this button in an old house site.I know that sometimes flower buttons have a millitary link.Can someone tell me if this one does?The backmark is EING???????.Some of the letters I can't make out.

I don't think it was of any military use. Most likely a 1850s-1900 civilian button. Most CW "flower" buttons are not actually a flower but petal type designs. None the less, a very nice button!
