Here's a nice flower button I found sunday mornin' at a pre-CW house site. It has no back, also it's my first Gold gilt button... Griz.

Pretty one, if it is cuff size, then I think I have one very similar if not identical, will look later and if it is, will post photo with backmark (if mine has one) and approximate age.

I found my similar button, and that is all, just similar, there was no backmark on the button, guess date would be 1830's + or - a bunch

Very nice button. I have a similar one, cuff size. It also has no backmark. After seeing how nice yours looks I'm going to have to try some aluminum jelly on mine. I found mine about 2 1/2 feet deep in a trash pit I was digging at a CW camp site in Virginia.
