Thanks Jeff
I suppose that means that since its for wax
The image Would Be Reversed When Stamped So Even If Someone Understood what The Language was. It Would Have to be Read in Reverse.

Try a reflection in a mirror or some photo editors will allow you to reverse the image.

As long as you can find someone to read it, do what Jeff said or make an impression in silly putty, if it doesn't show well go over the putty marks with a pen. Its likely to be an old name, but I'm not up on foriegn examples.

I think this is a significant find. I would place this wax seal in the early 1700s.

Ty crusader I found a 1731 kg II in this park so It's possible
I hope It's that old ! Ty. -Lim-

Stylistically it could date back to 1650 (so date range 1650-1750), but I was being cautious. It's not only the style that is quite telling but the slightly off-set drilled hole. This was not the case in the 1800s. I'm 90% happy with my ID, but being foriegn I'm a little unsure whether they followed the same evolution of our types.

It looks like old Arabic numbers. It's not Hebrew, I can tell you that.

Fantastic find, congrats.
