Buried on her father's land, under a statue of a Confederate soldier (bookstore worker at Peaks of Otter). Gotta look for that statue...

I know where a monument or statue is located. It is not a Confederate Soldier. I can not figure why it is located where it is located? As it is in North Goose Creek. It is mentioned in a Deed as a survey marker for a survey line. The Deed dates to the 1840's. So if a monument it would be for a War of 1812 soldier. I am going to hunt that Deed up again. I have it somewhere. I hunted for the monument and could not find it. I may have to get a surveyor to locate it for me. Way off the road and beaten path.
