Folks,

Being mostly a land detectorist don't find much in the way of gold rings...but have to admit this one is one of my favorites...Rolls Royce long service ring...the inscription is worn off so no way of returning it.

Feel free to add your favorite gold rings to the thread...the more the merrier...lol

I would have to say that I love my precious.
22.5K Inca gold Spanish treasure ring with nine near flawless Colombian emeralds.
That's an amazing ring Gary. And by the way I really enjoyed your ctx3030 water hunting book

Hey guys I didn't see any Black Hills Gold so I thought I would throw up this men's ring I found in a camping area covered in pull tab signals, luckily it rang in a little on the low side so I dug! I assume the small gem is a real diamond, based on its small size.
Notice the Green and orange leaves which are common designs for black hills jewelry.

ahhhh

Did you find this metal detecting? If you did you're my hero. If you bought it your still really cool.

I love those old ring finds! Would love to find something like that to add to my collection. Nice find!
Here is another ring, it is bronze and I do not know the age of it, it is hand made. I found it at an old town site that is now just a field. Nt

Since I have found another since my original post, here is my new favorite...

Folks,

Since a lot of the members are shut down until spring I thought I'd bump this thread up.....feel free to add to it if you wish.

The last couple of years not much luck with gold rings but have managed a couple of ladies bracelets and a pendant and chain which I'll add to the thread.

Hey Bill, I'm snowed in and am enjoying the thread...some great finds have been posted and I always love seeing yours.
I don't find many gold rings but I did find an interesting one in 2015 at a Virginia CW site. It was found along a Confed. trench line that's now a farm field.....it may be CW period since I've dug a bunch of relics there, but I did find coins there dating to the 1940s. The lettering looks pretty old and there is nothing on the inside.
I hope your winter isn't too bad up there and you can detect pretty soon, we should be thawed out in a few days here in NC.

Good looking ring and yes it does appear to have some serious age could very well be CW era.

Thanks for sharing.

Insofar as the weather I'm pretty much out of circulation until the end of March.....I'll have to rely on you Southern folks to keep me entertained.

Regards + HH
