Forest Service campground finds

Went up the canyon today to try a FS campground. Some of the ground was still frozen but this is what I found: 2.36 in change and a valet key and some kind of pin thats really heavy, might be copper. Anyone know what it is? What is a valet key?

Stayed away from the fire pits, too much trash and melted aluminum. Found most of the coin where people park and especially at the pay post.

The thing to the right of the key is called a bat or a one hitter. It's used for smoking whacky weed.

Ummm, yeah...that "copper thing"...I recognize that from the old days before I had kids, bills...responsibilities etc. That's a "one hitter". It's for smoking weed! At least that's what it looks like. Can you look all the way through it and see daylight? If so, you may want to discard that...

Holy smokes, I didn't know what Muckybottles meant by the bat. Just threw it away. You never know what your gonna dig up.

The bat had a wooden case when it was sold new. You pressed and twisted the tobaco of your choice with the bat in to the wooden case. They called them Sneak A Toke also.

A valet key is a spare key that comes with some cars. It only performs basic functions like starting the car and opening the door ...things valet parkers would need to do. You can't unlock things like the trunk or glove box with it ...
