Went detecting to an old homesite today.I found 15 copper Lincoln pennies,3 clad dimes,1 nickel,2 wheaties and the 1887 silver dollar.I scratched it digging it.It was 3 inches deep.It gave a solid lock on 93 with the F 75.All the other coins were 5 to 9 inches deep.Today was my birthday and this was a nice birthday present.

Congrats and Happy Birthday! Sounds like you already had one!!

I know how you feel. I dug my first Morgan today. It was an 1882, easily my oldest coin, and first from the 1800s.

It's a great feeling! I hope we both find many more.

Once again, WTG!!!
