Found a $300 Piece of Rare Pyrex at Goodwill Yesterday

Called Pumpkin Amish Butterprint #442 Orange. As soon as I saw it I was like this has to be worth something. Paid $4.99 for it. I don't expect this to be up on ebay very long they seem to sell very fast in this condition.

Check out the sold listings. Never rely on active listings for price points, always refer to sold.

Wow, no telling how many possible valuable pieces like that I may have passed by in all the years I've hunted thrift stores. Guess I'll keep an eye out for old pryex if nothing else.

This is how I find things. I'm 57 years old. If it looks like something from when I was a kid, in the cart it goes until I can price it. If it does not make sense it goes back on shelf. If it has a modern barcode the ones with the 3 longer bars one on each end, one in middle, back on the shelf it goes. The older bar codes had all the same length lines. If it says "Dishwasher Safe" or "Made in China" 99% of the time back on the shelf it goes.

China actually sells a lot of things made to look vintage so don't be fooled. If it looks vintage and says made in China it's most likely not.
