Found a few strange lookin things today

Not to big of a find today,but I didn't get to hunt long.Maybe next time will be better.A little find is always better than no find I recon.

Have know clue what this is.Its copper all I know.

I found a reed out of a pump organ,maybe this is part of the organ I don't know.

This looks like a reed from an harmonica but its to short.It don't look to broke.

This maybe from a Spencer rifle its rim fire.But I have not measured it yet to check,I'll do that later.

Yep that is a harmonica reed, and a spencer brass,the small copper and the two small iece don't know.

Yaw talking about the part that holds the wire,when you push it up it gets tighter. You maybe right.Thanks yaw.
 
Sure enough Governor, I've dug several of those over the years. Back in the day, the proper ladies had them to protect themselves from the sun & heat. Take a look at "Gone with Wind"
