Found a hand....

Slow moving day out, very nice field to detect, ok weather and nothing to find except casings, driving band frags and other rubbish. The only real find was this hand holding a tube with wood in it, so drawer pull is out of question... mount is iron cast in. Any ideas someone?

Whatever it was, now it holds a .50 cal. bullet and will be a christmas gift for a fellow detectorist....
