Hello folks. I went out detecting the other day and had a killer day
. Found several flat buttons and lots of iron. Was walking along and had a strong high tone on the old ATPro. I dug down and saw a tiny silver coin in the hole. Took it out and saw that lovely lady looking at me. SEATED SILVER
! Turns out it was an 1839 Half Dime. Tiny coin...Only the second one I have ever dug. Showed its age well. Only a scratch or two. Walked along and then another sweet sound...dug my plug and saw a big Green Flat button looking back at me. First thought...GW button...But I don't think so. But it is an ole Dandy button. It was hot and the Gnats and Mosquitos tried to carry me off! Glad to have found some great relics. I will post more pictures of the other items I found after I get them cleaned up. Thanks for looking everyone. Happy Hunting! zaxfire69
