Found a Local Bottle Today

Took a short walk and found a local soda bottle Matthews Bottling Works out of Emmitsburg Md.
Did a little research on the bottle and found out 2 brothers had a store in Emmitsburg early 1900's and also made home made ice cream and soda.
The store also had a one lane bowling alley,a merry-go-round and a player piano.

The bottle may not be worth much but,the history around it is Awesome.

I never considered selling mine not that I think it would be worth much.

I'm not getting rid of mine either. I'm from Taneytown so it's a nice piece of local history. I was just curious more than anything if was worth anything. Good luck on future hunts! Thanks for the link.
