A little short on cash this week but I stopped by a bank i've been doing pickups at, and i have found my most silver at this bank. Well after stopping about 15 times since i've started CRHing, they finally asked me what I was doing with all these coins (It's a bunch of young 20 year old kids in there). I said oh its a hobby I go through the coin rolls and pull anything that looks interesting (I didnt want to tell them my addiction to silver and wheat). They said well we were wondering, we didn't know if you picked them and just kept them or sold them for drugs or what
. Well after chatting for a bit while the other young teller was grabbing my $20 in Cents, she said I can buy bags of coins in here. She said im the only person that asks for rolls. I said does anyone every bring in large quanities of one coin, like all nickels or quarters or halves, and they said no, they usually just get people with the pocket change jars or such. (they seem to have no idea about silver, so this seams like a good sign) I said it sounds good. They said the best time to pickup the bags would be before wednesday. (BTW the bank wraps there own coins, and I found my 1891 IHC there). They also said if I want halves, to get the before wednesdays or on Saturdays. I told them that I don't bring the coins back to them, and they said they really really appreciate it. (I don't even have an account here). Well this bank also produced two 40% in a teller tray, and a 1948 silver dime in a roll, so im looking forward to my new connection. I checked the ends of the rolls and already found a reverse wheatie ender. So wish me luck!
