Look...I found an ok fugio....:sleepy2:

CHEER UP DUDE..THAT IS AN INCREDIBLE FIND!

Hey, maybe he is only used to gold coins or hammered silvers? Lol. Great find man!

That's a great find!

Just another Fugio cent.

They're like Memorial Cents around here.

Nice finds! How about a pic of the other side of the Fugio and a bit of a story behind its find? Thanks

Wow!, "ok" is used for things like indians, or mercs/roosies, not freakin fugios!!

Far better than ok, that's amazing!!!

Don't mean to sound not excited about the fugio. Couldn't believe my luck with that. Only found one before and could barely tell what it was. Been hitting a nice old farmland and haven't found muck till lately. First time posting in a while and had to figure out even how to post. Found a nice croatal bell to today. Anybody have any idea about the other thing that really looks like some sort of medal can't tell by the picture but it has gold on it too

That Fugio is a great coin. Love it

New strategy in posting start off slow and build to a great finish.:laughing7:

Great looking copper, WTG! What's the other piece made of lead?

Congrats

yes , " you brought home the bacon .. no baloney ".

;) really, great copper !

Its an old Horse Boss (rosette). Missing most of its edge & on the other side you will see 2 rust stains where the attachments were. Although some were brass.

OK ? I would have thought this to be a more exciting find than that .
Yeah really? Like, look what I got with my Happy meal?
That sort of OK find would have put me on a detectorist adrenaline rush for a dangerous amount of time. Fugio, then cardiologist?

Just another Fugio cent.

Yeah, lmbo. Stinking Lincoln, Furry Fugio, no big deal.
Great day detecting sir!

You all have to pardon masonman's lack of excitement on the fugio. I am his detecting partner and when he dug this he actually did a dance like I've never seen before. From a distance it looked like a sasquatch that stepped on a thorn bush.

Yeah, I guess that's an OK find. Looks kinda old and beat up, but then again, I don't really have anything to compare it to, because neither I. nor anyone I know has ever found a Fugio (or two)!

Congrats and hopefully the next Fugio will be a good one.
