I went back to one of my good fields for the sixth time in the last nine days and was pleased to find these. I have about exhausted this field unless we get lots of rain.

This is a real heartbreaker!

This has nice color.

It was in a part of the field I had not looked.

That hurts man, but is still a killer artifact. The best part of it is still there.. wtg

Really nice finds

I enjoyed seeing that one wtg on saving it form future breaks.

Last pic bottom left is a pencil drill by the way. I find them here in N GA

That's a pretty BIG point! Nice finds and a great save as well!!!

its a beast of a point even with the tip ding I would put it in the center of a frame if I had found it ding or not

Why is everything you find so big? Pretty wild stuff! What period is that stuff from? My transitional archaic / woodland site (roughly 5000 BCE - contact) site produces small points... even the early ones.

It depends on the flint in your area. Most of what I find is small but the flint cobbles are small and the big flint cobbles have lots of fractures in them. Cant make a good strong point with fractured flint.
