I found this ring, did a gold test with foundation & magnet and its real gold, not sure if its really Tiffany & Co or fake. I was told if it was real then it is probably 24k. Its missing the stone witch is a shame. 2013-01-10 23.17.55.webp2013-01-10 23.10.54.webp
Has anyone seen anything like this?

I really hope it is real, for your sake! Neat find!!

I think WOW! That's what I think.
Looks hand engraved to me. I bet it's real.

Looks real, don't think they counterfeited Tiffany in 1895. Nice find.

Gold is always nice, Tiffany makes it better. Really to bad about the stone.

Do you think its still worth more then the gold value with the stone missing?

I would list on eBay you will get spot price at the least, a premium for the Tiffany name at best.

sweet, and no doubt worth some bucks just for the name, not to mention the gold

Groovy find! :icon_thumright: Any friendly jeweler could verify whether it's solid gold, what karat number and the weight, and in my limited experience, most jewelers do this free. Tiffany brand older jewelry should sell well on eBay or other public auction sites, and the missing stone is no big deal as it allows the buyer to mount a new stone of their own choice, which I think is a plus. Let us know what you find out! Andi

Yeah I seen that, its mine, I lost it the other day! (NOT!) Sorry, could not resist, just kidding around. My sister in law text my son and I the same reply when we sent her a pic of a ring I found on the beach. We are giving her the ring for Christmas this year for a gag gift(the ring looks like it came out of a crackerjack box)

Congrats on a cool find, thanks for sharing it with us.

that's a Jazzy find!! :+)

That is a great find !!!

I wonder if the date is for a wedding or a birthday ? If it was the 14th it would be a no brainer.

Very nice, never worry about what could have been (missing stone) be happy with your find. And that is a very nice find. If your 26 and unmarried, keep it, when you do get married how nice to add a stone and present it to your wife. btw, I got married on February 22. 1986.

sounds like a business proposition... :-)

I did a little research for you. The 1895 is not the year. All Tiffany rings stamped the size of the diamonds inside the ring. The 1895 is a type of diamond. This has been a common procedure for them for a long time. This a 1895 would mean that the ring is probably real. The stamping fits what Tiffany has been putting on rings also. Great find! Better than my fake gold Seiko watch i found today haha

To bad about the stone, make sure you check your holes/dirt real well. If you find a ring with a missing stone.
Awesome find !!
Keep @ it and HH !!

I don't know if that's right, because it says Feb 22nd in front of the 1895. Looks more like a complete date to me.
