Today while detecting I found a ring in a 1907 park. It is thick silver with a stone. The stone has a carving in it can someone identify what is carved on the stone or give me any information on the ring BC451E45-8503-4BEA-BD85-5308A9C8E4E8.webp94AEF6DE-8888-4EC5-92DE-A67588640FC7.webp2274C0DB-B82E-44DF-A3CD-C390CE2D4013.webpBC451E45-8503-4BEA-BD85-5308A9C8E4E8.webp94AEF6DE-8888-4EC5-92DE-A67588640FC7.webp2274C0DB-B82E-44DF-A3CD-C390CE2D4013.webp

Outstanding find Mack! :occasion14:

The image is a head of a Trojan soldier; I first checked to see if
there was a USC Trojan connection, but couldn't find any matching
yours.

If you Google "mans silver ring, engraved trojan", you'll find some
comparable rings, but none of the engravings match exactly.

I too thought it is a type of Roman soldier. Is some of the image worn away?

My Grandpa (b. 1879) had a similar one for a high-school graduation ring.
