...but it was cut open and looted. Only had a couple pieces of broken china plate inside. Strange...

And finally, a water hunting hazard! Poo Poo the baby jellied Possum. Something to think about the next time you stick your head in the creek. And I have worse "things" I have found in the water... :-[

I'm amazed at the quantity and array of artifacts you are finding in the water! I gave up scuba diving after rescuing artifacts for a whole summer from a Civil War sidewheel paddle ship that sunk off the coat of South Carolina in 1866 . It rests in 90 feet of water. It was fun though while it lasted. We found unbelievable amounts of US, SNY, and officer buckles as well as just about every other artifact you can think of. The salt water is hard on the relics though.....the major reason why I stopped. I might just have to start water hunting again after seeing all your incredible finds! Congratulations!!! Devonrex

Just don't drink the water. Poo Poo had a friend. Rocky the maggot infested raccoon. I think I need another shot of whiskey just in case...
