Found this thing today on a site going back to the 1700’s but has been used by people to the present day. It was at 8” and hit a solid 27-28 on my equinox. It’s brass, has threaded openings on the “ open end” and holes on the narrow end. On one side it has a tab, to me it looks like mini binoculars but it reminds me of something off of a motorcycle’s fuel system. Any guesses
?
