found another class ring *update*

went back to the state park beach yesterday where, so far, i have found a class ring and 2 silver rings...... found another class ring same year asl the other one, 2005. I called the school today and they found the owner and said she lost it "a good while back".....their exact words.....she gave me the school's address and it will go in the mail tomorrow

Awesome good deed of you to do, shines some light on the hobby! I lost my class ring just 3 days after I got it 26 years ago, I know where and searched for it 1.5 years ago but did not find it. WTG Marty! These young kids today! "A good while back" is 2 years..for me it's about 20! One time a kid about 8 years old told me something that happened "a long time ago", so when I asked them how long ago, they said, "About 2 years ago!"

I hope to find such a ring so I can feel the joy of returning it too.

Yeah it feels good to return a class ring to the owner. The last one I found was someone I know believe it or not. I actually returned it to her grandmother who raised her. That girl went to school with my twin daughters. That made it even more special. I still haven't got to talk to her about returning it. She is married now and out of state. Her grandmother said she had bought it for her and it had been lost for about 4 or 5 years. That little ring had laid there right in the middle of that softball field all that time. Fantastic job returning the one you found to the original owner!!!. Makes us all look good to the public and it gives us an extra good feeling inside to do that!
