Pointed object.. overall its has a triangular shape... almost looks like an arrow head.. Its sort of strange...
Found at Mexican Revolution WW1 ERA Site on the border... No idea...

Some sort of pole tip /spike / stake / climbing staff tip / etc... IMO

Modern outdoor solar lights have a similar base.
Single rose holders ( of late ,plastic)had a tube to hold water above the spike.

Interesting thoughts... Its like a decent heavy weighted metal... figure it has to be tied to the military camp but maybe not..

Tip from a vintage hiking pole? Although it looks a little small and maybe too pointy for that. Whatever it is, I don't get the impression that it is 100 years old...
