found cave in blk.mtn. nc need help exploreing has name on tree

While metal detecting last year me and my son found a cave with name carved in it ........ Lots of quartz outcroups and hole was coverd by logs and very old wire....Also small peices of tormaline pices..... No tellin whats in this cave good gem and gold potential... Let me no if intrested mtn.treasures@hotmail.com ...This is very hidden deep in a cove but easy to get to...

Sounds like you have found an old mine for sure, what state is this located in. Since the mine was covered it may have been sealed because there was more valuable material left in there. I might be interested in helping with this.

black mountain is just a 2 hour drive for me ,, i live in mountains of east tennessee
