I HAVE PICS OF THE SAME FUNGUS AND IT WAS ON SIDE OF A TREE AND THE COLORS WERE AWESOME>
 
Fry it up the same as chicken fingers!
Flour, salt, pepper, eggs. Dip dip dip and fry!
 
They call it a chicken mushroom here in Pa. Can't say that i have tried it before..
