Found in contents of 1800's lock box

Can't find much information on this. 1800's box of "opium free" ovee tablet pills. Anyone ever seen these before? And does it have any worth or just a keepsake. Thanks.

They are actually still sold today, just not in the same packaging. I cannot find anything on value, though. There aren't even any images on the Internet of what you have.
