719CCB58-3802-4D83-AC1A-AB9CAEF2E458.webp919C1952-D916-4F83-AEF9-EC7E5616D788.webp. Poured out the bag of buttons and this stuck right out. It feels plastic. The Eagle is carved and dimensional and the three letters appear to be E M G.

Doesnt look ald to me from the back and being plastic but Im no expert someone will ID it Im sure.

I am not even sure it started life as a sewn on button. The drilled holes and drill bit marks look home made.There could have been a loop on the shank that broke off and that would explain it I suppose.
 
Any idea what the initials stand for? Looking but drawing blanks.
 
The bird looks to be the popular "Phoenix" design. Cant help with the letters. Nice button find.
