Hoping to find gold - came up with this instead - water find down real real deep ...barely went off - was a whisper
I fanned like 5-6 ins with dive boot and it got louder - thought I had a big fishing weight maybe - scooped straight down
and rechecked and thought I had a can -took 3 scoops to get it
saw stainless band hanging off of scoop lip and thought I had a stainless chain - big surprise - my eyes are shot had to wait til my GF
walked up and confirmed it said Cartier - I had a feeling it might be - I saw similar design found by another hunter few yrs
back - his was a womans. It is heavy as heck - you could knock someone out with it. crystal is scratch free..it has a serial #
when found - second hand was not moving - but when I gave it to my GF - it was - told her "I think those are self winding" - they are
time in sand it stopped being in my pouch got it restarted
but years ago I found a Rolex Submariner on south beach and it turned out to be a fake - so not counting my chickens

Weds. was easier - but the other days - I got beat up - add up all the targets and that's a lot of scooping

Congrats on all of your finds Casper. Looks like you were digging from beginning to end !

early in the week - actually did a lot of driving looking for a spot to get in - when my GF is with me - I will have her pull up and I will run out and check a spot - then
run back and tell her if we are staying or moving on - some times we will just park and throw a quarter in the meter and walk out together and decide and if
it looks good we will put a few bucks in and give it a shot - so most times I can check and run which we did a lot of early in the week - I have to wonder
just how much more I would have gotten if water had co-operated more - I had a few spots down there I usually do real good at every trip that I just could not get in.
Could have done a lot worse - I was happy I got what I got

Update on Cartier watch I recently found

in Florida waters - Its real
I took to a couple of reputable watch dealers and they said it is genuine
though working fine - they recommend I put a little money into it and get it overhauled and if I wanted to get
the most out of it - the band and around the crystal could use a good buffing to get some of the fine scratches out
It is a Cartier Roadster and if cleaned up - they can bring close to $5000 in used condition. As is
still worth a few $$$

some go for that used - don't think mine would get close to that without putting a bunch into it - just glad I got a good watch and it works
