Found my first Silver Dollar.... WELL Sorta... GOPRO & Big Silver

I was very confused when this popped out but I was happy to get my first silver dollar. It is well worn so I'm guessing it may have been someone's lucky coin or something like that.




It is actually bigger than a silver dollar and way bigger than a half but looks like a Walker so it totally confused me...



I was still very happy to find it.... HH​

Man you were confused...that was funny...you never know whats going to come out of the ground...that's about as rare of a coin as you could ever dig because its a collectors coin, not for circulation...not to mention that its a silver dollar, pure silver at that...congrats.

That's a great find, and someone played with that coin alot. I wonder how long they looked for it?
Bet they wished they had a metal detector. WTG!

I found my first ever silver dollar this year at a convenient store on my way to metal detect, a silver eagle also. Lol

I wonder how that ended up in the ground. I bet some kid got it for Christmas or something, put it in their pocket and then lost it.

I love the silver eagles, pure silver (.999) instead of 90%, 1 full Troy ounce instead of 26 grams like a Morgan or Peace. A bullion coin but also legal tender ($1 slightly under valued to me) so it has all three including numismatic value and bullion value. Also you have the FIRST year they made those making a slightly higher premium on the thing. However since its condition you may get $25 for it. Still over spot price but, if it was in good condition could be worth twice that. Awesome find !!

Nice Find, That was the first year of the Silver Eagle coin 1986. You could tell by the wear, that somebody kept it on them as a good luck piece. Now its your good luck piece.
