Age is sometime between 1880 and now, a lead-case semi-wadcutter I would guess.

Very interesting, and it struck something very hard before it came to a rest. A ricochet for sure.

Mirage83 is spot on. The vertical lines in the groove were not used until 1880 and up. CW bullets would not have them. Still a nice find.
