It would be a large 5 or a small 5, the small 5 is pointed at the top stem and smaller than the 0, large 5 is same size as the 0 and has a more squared top stem.

The small or large is referring to the date on the coin. (specifically the 5 in the date). Some coin books have illustrations. Prolab69 kind of described it above.
