Did you find anything good?

Very nice picture, I like the old Teknetics. I bought a Teknetics Eagle from Kellyco in about 1989, I'm thinking it was right around $300. and I really liked that detector. It was a huge step up from the Bounty Hunter Mini Red Baron I had previous to that. The analog meter and tone ID system was great. The only thing I didn't like was the handle, it would give me blisters after about 3 hours use. I think I had the same high tops you are wearing too, that was the only style shoes I wore back then.

Yes, i loved my 8ooo, it worked awesome for the wood chips around and close to poles. I had gotten calluses on my hand form the handle and it was all right then. my machine would pick up a silver dime at 9 inches. . Dale

Nice photo! :occasion14:

I used to have a compass patch just like yours. I also had a green "Compass Recovery Team" jacket. It had a picture of an 1877 Indian head cent.
I used to have a 99B, a 74B, 77B, Judge 2 manual, Judge 2 auto, and Coin Magnum.
Ah yes... The good old days! Good to see you on the forum!

Thank you to all replies !

Don't have hardly any pic's metal detecting, but ran across this one. My mom and I about 1985 1986.
Nice picture :) When my mom died my sister went to her house and took all her pictures and important things. I asked for some but never got any. When my sister died i asked my niece for some of the pictures of my mom and never got any, Living 400 miles away sure did not help
