My exwife was walking the ocean shore in RI. and found this rock engraved with the numbers 611. It has been ground down on both ends and on one side it is ground length ways It is a little over 3 1/4 inches long. The number ones have a base or feet so I don't think it is 119. Anyone have a guess what this is.

It could be part of a trial piece from a Folk Art stone carver. You may want to GOOGLE to see if there are any stone carving artist in that area. Interesting find, Breezie
