I thought this was a nickel at first. Turns out it is a 1982 twenty pence. It is really dirty. Not sure if i should leave it as it is or run it through my rock tumbler. Advice from the forum please????

to be honest with you, it's not worth anything. Just modern foreign pocket change. If you hunt touristy beaches, you will eventually accumulate lots of such coins . It's gotten to where I just throw them away.

Thanks Tom, i figured pretty much the same thing after i posted this. I'm actually surprised that I do not find more as I mostly hunt a beach on a military base.
 

I agree with Tom in Ca.

I like the coin...have never found one like that.
