there is a large piece of ore type material on the point of a nearby river thats a little tough to get to.for some odd reason all types of metal objects are pulled to it including coins.other coins that i have found on this object are a 1884 quarter,a couple of indian cents and homemade lead sinkers,old nails,even a horeseshoe.its like a magnet for any metal objects.so dont forget to check the riverbanks.

I once found an Indian Head cent on a flat shale ledge beside a river. Mine was worn completely smooth on top and I could only tell what it was from the back.
