Found Please Help Identify

Found in a Dumpsite near where confederates staged cannons but could have came from somewhere else? 10" X 4" Solid Steel Bars look like wheel chocks Bars weigh around 20 Lbs each.Flat on one side rounded on other. Never saw anything like it. A local Museum is looking at two and supposed to let me know what they are? Does anyone else know? THEY ARE FLAT ON BOTTOM REGARDLESS OF HOW PHOTO TURNED OUT <<<NOT CURVED.

Yes Rail Road is nearby. The Confederates stationed there toprotect railroad and are they that old?
