Went of for about 3 ½ hours today. I started out doing some foundation in the woods but got skunked there.
Next I went over to a school just to get some change. When I turned into the parking lot I saw a guy m d already in the field so I walked up to him. He turned out to be the same guy I saw a couple of weeks ago m d a field by my house.
We hunted a while and talked. We exchanged numbers and left.
I went over to a baseball field . I know it was an older field because silver has been pulled out of it in the past.
I started off in the corner close to the fence. I first pulled up a wheatie and a few minutes later I pulled up another wheatie. They turned out to be a 1911 and a 1920.
After an hour of walking around I went over to another corner near the fence and got a nice signal , quarter/50cents about 5 inches deep Sounded good so dug a big plug and out popped 4 of the dimes dug around and 4 more come to light..WOW!!! 8 Dimes( I did the MLW67 face )
Biggest Silver Cache I have found.
(2)1946 1946D 1952 1953 1953S 1959D and 1964D ( 64 looks new my guess is it may have been lost that year )
Also got $5.11 in clad and some junk.
