Well now that school is back in section I'm back to hunting parks . I went back to one of my favorite old parks that still will give up an old coin sometimes . I hunted for a good two hours and found a bit of clad in the first hour . I finally had a deep high tone that was very jumpy . It was a good 7 inches deep and turned out to be a 1948 wheat cent . The next good target at 9 inches was and old fork with a maker mark on it . It reads " Home Union Silver Metal " . Any one heard of this company ? The next good target was a +55 at 6-7 inches . It turned out to be the lid of an old compact . The only words I can make out on it are " Rouge " and " & Ramsuell " . I'm thinking it dates to the 1940's . The last target is my favorite ! It does look like much but being a license plate collector for 33 years this is the closest license item I have ever found . It's what is left of a 1932/1933 or 1934/1935 California Chauffeurs badge
. I have posted what it would look like complete .
Love them old parks !
