Went back to where I found the silver walker 1/2 dollar, didn't find any silver coins just 1 silver earring, and 9 wheaties. So I waited til later and went to the ball park where I found my first 2 silvers, and behold I found another silver dime it was covered with what seems to be hard dried tar.

took my fingernail to it

Got a toothpick and finally

Yeah at first couldn't see silver only on the edges

Soak that in some WD40 and it should clean up some more.

Nice save! The Roosevelt series from '46 to '64 didn't really have any super rare dates, but if there was a key or semi-key date, it would be the 1950.....so yes, like Whadi said, a little WD40 will clean it right up...thx for sharing...ddf
